Wedding Planning

Wedding Planning; You Can’t Do it Alone
Planning your wedding may very well be one of the most stressful tasks you have encountered in life so far. This can lead to major headaches and even arguing with your future spouse. I am writing these things to help you avoid this stress at all cost.
From photography to flowers, cakes, tuxedos, decorations, catering, transportation, honeymoon, venue arrangements and invitations there is no question why you will be stressed as you plan your wedding. If you try to plan and do all of these things on your own then you are in for an unpleasant experience.
You need help!
Wedding planning should be an amazing experience that you will never forget and it can be. You have friends and family that love you and are waiting for you to ask for their help. Many brides won’t ask for help because they want things done your way. I witnessed this first hand at a South Jordan wedding reception; the reception was stressful and chaotic because she tried to do it on her own. Remember that you are in charge of your wedding even if you have help. You do not have to do things yourself to have them done your way. It is as simple as talking to the helper and explaining what you want.
The more help you have the less you will spend
Let’s face it; it is close to impossible to plan a wedding on your own. Even if you don’t ask loved ones for help you will end up paying for professional help. There are things that you would normally pay for that can be free if you ask for a helping hand. Catering can cost thousands of dollars. If you know some good cooks you can serve homemade food to your guests. If you know the right people you can even save on the cost of a photographer.
Another huge advantage of asking for help is the fact that every helper is another brain. Most of us have been to weddings and have many neat ideas. I have seen a Midway wedding reception venue transform by the ideas of five girls working as a team. If you ask for help, your loved ones will share their ideas with you.
Wedding planning is a complicated thing so I encourage you to ask for help. This may be difficult for you to swallow but you will need it. You have many loved ones who have helped with weddings before and have had past experience. Use this help and I promise you will be grateful. Best of luck to you as you prepare for a neat experience.
